1.ประเภทวางยืน หรือ Tower(ทาวเวอร์)แบ่งเป็นประเภทย่อยตามขนาดที่ต่างกันได้อีก คือ
- Mini Tower (มินิทาวเวอร์) คือ เคสขนาดเล็ก รูปร่างกะทัดรัด จะวางบนโต๊ะ หรือ ใต้โต๊ะก็สะดวก แต่ข้อเสีย คือเพิ่มอุปกรณ์ต่าง ๆ เข้าไปอีกค่อนข้างลำบาก เพราะว่าพื้นที่ภายในแคบ

- Full Tower (ฟูลทาวเวอร์) คือ เคสประเภทรุ่นใหญ่ ขนาดความสูงประมาณ 55-60 Cm ขึ้นไปมีช่องว่างเหนือเมนบอร์ด และ สามารถใส่ Drive ได้มากเป็นพิเศษ ผู้ที่เป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญคอมพิวเตอร์ หรือนักเล่นเกม จะนิยมประเภทนี้ เพราะใส่อุปกรณ์ได้มาก และระบายความร้อนได้ดีกว่า แต่ราคาก็สูงตามไปด้วย นิยมเอามาทำเป็นเครื่อง server
